Hello again, I'm Lucille Naroian. I live in Lawrence, Massachusetts, which is about 30 miles north of Boston. I've been a professional portrait artist for the past 37 years. As a youngster, I loved to draw faces, but never considered myself talented enough to make a career of it. But my mother did. She suggested I take private lessons. I took her advice and never regretted it.

This site features a special three page "Dedication" to the memory of my mother, her brother and his wife. All three passed away within a 13 week period.
UPDATE: On September 14, 2004, my long-time companion passed away suddenly from a massive stroke. I have added a special memorial section entitled "In Memorium" just for him.

The rest of this site is broken down into six categories. They are, "Career Highlights", "Oil Portraits", "Oil Paintings", "One Stroke", "Special Page" and "Friends Forever".  I sincerely hope that you enjoy viewing my site as much as I enjoyed creating it.

This handsome young man is my son, Ray. He is my only child and the light of my life. From the time he was a toddler, he displayed exceptional abilities. He was reading the comics at age three. At ten, he had mastered the art of impersonation. His repertoir ranged from politicians to comedians. His favorite was Rodney Dangerfield. To this day he continues to tickle my funny bone with his impersonations of Ray Romano, Richard Nixon and Jerry Seinfeld, to name a few. Honestly, when he calls me, I never know who's going to be on the other end of the phone. Ray is also a gifted songwriter and guitarist.  I'm trying to convince him to let me play one of his songs on this page.

A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Northern Essex Community College and Bradford College, Ray completed his internship at Haverhill Community Television.  He was offered a position of newswriter at Boston's television station, WBZ. Just when we thought things couldn't get any better for him, he was offered a more prominent position back at Haverhill Community. This time they wanted him to teach.

He's been at the station for a little over seven years now.  He teaches his students how to set up lights, work on cameras and film editing. He also writes, anchors and edits the news. When he's not working at the station, he can be found giving talks at various organizations, interviewing locals from politicians to school teachers and organizing fund raisers. Presently, Ray is writing music. Below, is a photo of him preparing to act in a highlight tape for the television station.
