As you can see, I am primarily a portrait artist, but I do paint florals, seascapes and still lifes. About four years ago I turned on the television and there was a woman painting a rose in a maner I'd never seen done before. Her name was Donna Dewberry and she called her method of painting One Stroke. It's a special technique that allows you to blend, shade, and highlight with just one stroke. I was hooked. I bought her kit and the rest is history. I love to paint candles along with furniture, trays and mailboxes. If it's standing still, I'll paint it.
